28 March To 15 April
Oliver Searle originally comes from London and is currently living in Brisbane. With a background in Classical Dance, Ollie’s artistic style has emerged towards Fashion Illustration and Fine Art. Focusing mainly on single figures, he explores the theme of isolation and the idea of truth and beauty.
The first memories Ollie had of art evolve around drawing human figures and fashion. “It seemed to click after my Kundalin experience as to why I drew a lot of human figures. When it comes to fashion I try and find meaning. It is not just a dress for example; it’s a reflection of all the women who have been a part of my life.”
Opening event for Ollie’s exhibition is Friday 31 March from 6:30 to 8pm. Please join us for drinks and meet the artist.
