Ross Woodrow is the Director of the Griffith University, Centre for Creative Arts Research.
Ross was born in Mackay and established his early career in Queensland as a painter and while today he continues to make images across a range of media his particular focus is in printmaking.
As an artist he has had solo exhibitions in New York in 2011, Philadelphia 2013 and in Brisbane in August 2014 at Bosz Gallery’s inaugural exhibition.
He has written numerous articles for books and journals including Australian Art Monthly, Australian Art Collector and Artlink.
More recently he wrote the catalogue essays for the 2014 Adelaide Biennial, articles for Crane Arts Philadelphia 2015 and Mirror Image: Prints and Plates 2015 for an exhibition he curated at the Gympie Regional Gallery.
